Our charity invites applications for grants to purchase equipment and fund projects that will support and benefit the patients, staff and local community. This is how we supported our community with grants approved and paid during our financial year to 30th June 2020:
Shop project: Our shop was unable to remain open to the public during the pandemic. We gifted our stock to NHS workers. The shop re-opened under Imperial’s care, and we purchased further stocks that we gifted to NHS staff to help out during the crisis. |
£17,065 |
Charing Cross Community Nursery: The nursery cares for the children of hospital workers as well as those in the local community. We have helped the nursery with some new equipment, including an outdoor climbing frame. The nursery has remained open during the pandemic to look after children of key workers. |
£7,031 |
Department of Anaesthesia: Regional Anaesthesia Passport Training Course Simulation trolley for regional anaesthesia |
£4,178 |
Music on the wards | £1,500 |
Ward Christmas gifts | £552 |
Charing Cross Cricket Club | £210 |
Total grants for the year | £30,536 |
We have supported our community for the last 65 years and we would love to fund more projects this year. We are in a position to do this because of the amazing efforts of our supporters. Following our successful fundraisers over the summer, we welcome further grant applications. If you or your department wish to apply, you can find out more and complete the form here.
